Mt. Zion area sends prayers and sympathy to the family of Ladene Parks who passed away Saturday.

Judy Piepmeier got a good report when she kept her eye appointment last week. To celebrate, she treated Terry to lunch on the way home. Please keep her in your prayers; Judy is still smiling.

Laverne Motley is going to celebrate another birthday soon I’m sure she would enjoy a card (if my memory serves me right it is Dec. 14, she will be 102?) Her address is 3200 SW Hwy. H Schell City 64783.

Dixie Peterson still doing good at Truman Lake manor. Niece Brenda Peterson from Richmond visited recently, also the Crawford boys and Howard.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Dec. 21 at the home of Marge Zink, lunch at noon. No gift exchanges.

Lots of people enjoyed Christmas in the country in Appleton City Saturday. Lots of Christmas programs being planned. Try to attend for lots of work goes into planning them.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is happy that Robin finally caught on to Petey begging treats, she made him help open the gate before he got his treat. When Petey comes over with Daniel he always expects a treat for riding along! Belle is hoping the chickens start laying soon. Robin is thinking about putting them in the cook pot. Robin has been making hats for winter. Mabel is enjoying the little people visits and now there is one more.

Dee Rapp and daughter visited Marge Zink recently.

John and Julia Snethen had a quite week with John running his bus route and Julia keeping her hair appointment and running errands in Osceola.
