Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor Linda Wansing entitled “Do you have the same mindset as Christ?” taken from Luke 21:14. You are always welcome to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. and Bible study Tuesday morning 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area is happy to announce the addition of a new citizen. John Ryan joined the Ethan and Michelle Siegismund family. Aaron, Joel, and Ivan celebrate with a brother’s party.

Harvesting of soybeans and corn are in full swing; lots of new calves being born. We need rain. Trees are showing some color.

Judy Piepmier is home from the hospital getting better and making plans to celebrate her birthday.

Wanda Rector returned from an enjoyable trip by train to St. Louis. Visited there and then went by car to Tennessee to visit more family, returning home and planning her next trip.

Ladine Parks is a patient at Ellett Memorial Hospital; sending prayers.

Dixie Peterson keeping busy doing therapy at the Truman Lake Manor, Howard visited recently.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is enjoying the cooler weather just being lazy. Mabel still working doing something with apples, Robin is knitting and wishing that the chickens would lay eggs.

John Snethen spent a quite week with his bus route and Julia stayed at home still sick. Went to the doctor office on Friday and got more medicine. Shella and Theo Vandiver visited on Saturday helping John with the dog.

Jewel Dene Nitsche visited Marge Zink recently; Ginger Barnes visited also.

Mt. Zion Club met Sept. 21, in the home of Marge Zink. Ladies enjoyed lunch at noon. After the business was conducted, they enjoyed bingo. Roberta Dines will host next meeting Oct. 19,. For information, call Marge at 660-598-4240; phone working part of the time.
