The Mt. Zion is enjoying nice weather; we can get some outside work done that we’ve put off all summer. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Laverne Motley enjoyed celebrating her 101st birthday last week. What a great lady.

We wish Wilma Williams a speedy recovery from eye surgery.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is still waiting for snow and cooler weather. Robin has been knitting neck scarves so Belle thinks it will get cold soon. Been a lot of little people visiting Robin and Mabel. Mabel is keeping busy working in the pecans.

Dixie Peterson enjoyed the Christmas Party at Truman Lake Manor where she is doing therapy. Enjoyed several visitors and Christmas cards. Called Marge Zink her favorite sister-in-law, wishing her Merry Christmas.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are ready for winter, their house is winterized, the wood box is full. Cats house ready for winter. Life is great in the Mt. Zion area.

Rockville Hand Quilters had their Christmas luncheon Thursday. We were glad to see Florene French was able to come and join us for the afternoon of quilting; another great lady in our area.

John and Julia Snthen went shopping Wednesday in Nevada and later in the week to the  Beauty Shop and doctor, not a good report. Sunday, Ron and Julia went in Clinton shopping.
