Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday morning service was by Leland Browning.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. to study the Bible.

Mt. Club will meet 10 a.m. at the Marge Zink home Dec. 19, we will then go to Clinton for shopping and lunch.

Mt. Zion area weather has been true to Missouri snow, rain, cold, warm, wind and sun; we are thankful that it was not worse.

It was a lot like Christmas in Appleton City Saturday. It was all decorated for Christmas in the country, lots of nice crafts, food and Santa. Osceola had their arts and craft fair at the Osceola High School common area.

Not much going on over at Howard and Dixie Peterson, Dixie is doing therapy in Osceola.

Tom Pelkey is still not feeling well. Wish him a speedy recovery, Beverly is better. The wood fairy brought more wood and helped fill the wood box.

Beverly Pelkey and Marge Zink did their Christmas shopping in El Dorado Springs.

The Mt. Zion Bunco ladies attended Bunco at the Lowry City Branch of the St. Clair County Library. We think we set a record, there were 12 ladies at Bunco; it was sure nice to have Stella back with us. All are invited to join us the third Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the library in Lowry City for a fun afternoon.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm Robin and Belle are getting ready for Christmas, being good while Robin crochets gifts.

The Rockville hand quilters have been busy finishing up some quilts, enjoyed company on Thursday. We meet each Thursday afternoon and would love for you to join us.

John and Julia Snethen had a quite week with John keeping a doctor’s appointment and running his bus route. Julia finally got out Saturday and went to the grocery store. Son, Ron, and friends came out Sunday to celebrate his getting a new job.
