Rockville United Methodist Church Sunday service was conducted by Larry Sorrells titled “How Does a New Creature Get to Heaven” taken from ll Corinthians 5:16-24. You are always welcome to join us 9 a.m. for Sunday Morning Worship services.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home held at 7 pm; you are welcome to join us.

The Mt. Zion Club will meet April 17, in the Marge Zink home.

Nice to see the sun shining Sunday morning after several days of cloudy raining weather; the creeks are bank full of water, grass is growing, flowers are blooming and things are good in the Mt. Zion area.

Several from the area attended memorial services for Robert (Bob) Suster March 31 at the Christian Church in Appleton City.

There are reports of people finding red Mushrooms; I am waiting for the Morels.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home were Kent Crawford and Beth also Brenda Peterson was an overnight Sunday guest.

Stacy and Mike Griffith and Marge Zink entertained family and friends for family dinner Sunday.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm Robin and Belle are waiting for spring; just when Belle thinks it’s spring then comes the rain, sleet and snow.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey are doing fine Tom never had such a small woodpile, it will be glad to get back to cutting wood. Beverly is feeding the cats and watching three little kittens play.

John and Julia Snethen spent a quite week at home with John making trips to El Dorado Springs, Clinton and Springfield.
