Morning Services was by Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells was “His Banner Over Me is Love” from John 3:13-24.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening with 11 in attendance to study the Bible.

Mt. Zion Club will meet June 19 for annual picnic.

The Mt. Zion area sure has lots of water where we are not use to water being; B Hwy. was close going to Rockville but us quilters found a way there rather nice seeing different roads.

Sympathy to the family of Ernie Hearting who died May 23.

We wish a speedy recovery to Sheri Suster who had surgery.

VFW Post 11242 and Auxiliary managed to get Memorial Day Service done despite the heavy rain, after doing Mt. Zion Cemetery they enjoyed at Tom and Beverly Pelkey home.

Recent visitors in the Howard and Dixie Peterson home have been Brenda Peterson if Richmond, Kent Crawford enjoyed lunch with them. Dixie was able to go to church this week. They enjoyed visiting with neighbors Ken and Ronda.

David and Wilma Williams return from an enjoyable trip to Mississippi, they visited family and attended graduation of a couple of grandchildren.

Over at the Robin Siegismund farm, Belle was glad to have a little relief from the rain; she doesn’t like showers or mud. The little chickens are growing but still looking forward to baby chickens that come by mail. The road is closed, Belle is getting a little bored no cars to think about chasing.

There has been several at exercise class at Ellett Memorial Hospital Marge and her friend whinny is still whining.

The Rockville Hand Quilters are about finish a quilt the high water didn’t keep them away Thursday.

We wish Tom Pelkey a speedy recovery from the bug he has, he did get the yard mowed.

John Snethen had a week off from the bus did get caught up on several honey do projects.
