News from Harwood and area

There is change in when Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. Madalyn had me put in my news last week that she would just be closed Thanksgiving day but she decided that she will be close Thanksgiving day through Sunday. She will reopen on Monday morning, Nov. 28. The Thanksgiving buffet will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Thanksgiving dinner at the Grace United Methodist Church at El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, Nov. 13.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 13. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “Love One Another,” was taken from the gospel of John 14.

The Harwood Post Office is open from 1:15 to 3:15 p. Monday through Saturday. Phyllis is the clerk in charge.

There was a good turn out at the election poll at the voting place at the Harwood Town Hall Tuesday, Nov. 8.
