Madlyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 8. She will be closed because she will serve at the Duke Mason show. She will serve at the Community Center at El Dorado Springs and then the show will be at the Opera House.

Joey, Amiee and Hunter Coy, near Sedalia, visited in the home of Jerry and Karen Coy Saturday, Dec. 3.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Dec. 4. Brother Jon Caudle Sr.’s sermon “God Realize Purpose,” was taken from Galatians 4:4-6 and Luke 2:8-17.

John and Judy (Haddix) Gwyn, of Colorado, were here for a few days getting ready for her late father’s (mom and grandmother), estate sale Saturday, Dec. 3.

Several from the area attended the annual El Dorado Springs Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 3.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the Friday fried chicken dinner at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center Friday, Dec. 2. It is the first Friday of the month.
