News from Harwood and Schell City

The Schell City area will hold their annual Forth of July Fireworks Celebration on June 19, at 6 p.m. at the Schell City Ball Park. The hotdog, hamburgers and drinks will be furnished. You can bring a covered dish and a lawn chair. There will be fireworks at dark.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closes from Saturday, June 19 to Thursday, June 24. She will reopen at her regular time on Friday, June 25.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and friend, Mary Tomblison, had dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen Friday, June 11, for Helen’s birthday.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, buy stamps, mail packages etc. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their box.
