Madalyn Crocker said that as of now she does not know of anything that she will be closed for in July. If she does, she will have me put it in my news.

Ruth Ijams and Jeanie O’Brien attended the Haims reunion at Leeten Sunday, July 15.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, were overnight guests in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman Sunday, July 15. They were here to take Jewell to Joplin to have hip surgery on Monday, July 16.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, July 15. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon, “The Sower” was taken from Luke 8:5-15.

Several from the area attended the Vernon Youth Fair at Nevada this past week.

There has just been a little bit of rain this past week. The farmers are really needing rain.
