News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, said that she will be open the rest of the month of September except for Wednesday when she will close that day.

Several from the area of Harwood and Schell City attended funeral services for Rex Goodman at the Schell City Christian Church with the burial at Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City Friday, Sept. 21. Rex grew up in the Schell City area.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Rosie Taylor, had dinner Sunday, Sept. 23, at the new restaurant, Pappy’s in El Dorado Springs.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 23. Their Pastor Mike Dunivan was gone Sunday so Brother Jon Caudle Sr. filled in for him. Brother Caudle’s sermon was taken from several verses of the Books of Matthew, Luke and John.
