Madalyn’s Kitchen, sought of Schell City, will have her Valentine’s dinner on Thursday, Feb. 14. The price depends on what kind of meat you take. It will be held from 5-8 p.m.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, visited in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Jan. 27. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon was taken from Psalm 139:13-16. The church will hold a community breakfast Sunday, Feb. 10, from 8:30-9:45 a.m. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman attended the birthday dinner at the El Dorado Springs Senior Center Thursday, Jan. 24. They hold the birthday dinner once a month the fourth Thursday of every month. The ones that have a birthday that month will put their names in a drawing and the name that is drawn will receive a free meal.

The Harwood and Schell City areas received an unexpected snow late Friday afternoon, Jan. 25. Some in the area said they got between one inch to 1 1⁄2 inches. It will be good on the wheat.

Jewel and Helen Ellerman attended the service at the Grace United Methodist Church in El Dorado Springs Sunday evening, Jan. 27. They had the Redneck Revival with Pastor Pudge and Sister Sludge from Ozark. They have services in Branson. Sister Sludge have relatives in El Dorado Springs. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Reasoner. Most of her half brothers and sisters live in El Dorado Springs. Her stepmother, JoAnn (Reasoner) Alexander, and her half brothers, Alvan and Andrew Reasoner, have the worship band for the Grace United Methodist Church. They had a really good service. They were at the church about a year ago. The church was full. They served a meal before the service.
