News from Harwood and Schell CIty

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, for the 4th of July so everyone can celebrate with their families. She will reopen at her regular time on Friday, July 4.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, spent Friday, June 28, in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. The apartment complex that Jewell and Helen lives in had a BBQ dinner Friday for everyone that lives there. Bob and Cheryl went with them.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday thru Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours so people can get their mail out of their box.

Jewell and Helen Ellerman and a friend, Mary Tomblinson, ate at the Chinese Chef in Nevada Thursday, June 27.

Madalyn Crocker says they had a really large crowd at the Community Fourth of July celebration at the Schell City Park Saturday, June 29. Madalyn said that everyone that took part in it they would like to thank everyone who helped with and everyone who brought food etc. They had fireworks at dark.
