News from Harwood and Schell City

I did not get my news in last week, as I was not feeling well so I will double up, if you can please get Madalyn news in this week.

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, and she will serve breakfast and then will close at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, for the Schell City Fall Festival, which is Friday evening, Sept. 6 and Saturday, Sept. 7. She will be open Sunday, Sept. 8.

Jeanie O’Brien of Schell City, visited Jewell and Helen Ellerman for a few minutes Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Ruth Ijams and her daughter, Peggy O’Brien, of Schell City, attended the Greshan Family reunion at the VFW building at El Dorado Springs Sunday, Sept. 1.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday thru Saturday 1:15-3:15 so people can get their mail, buy stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their box.
