News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will hold her steak, shrimp and chicken dinner, which will include baked potato, salad bar and dessert bar. The price will depend on what kind of meat you take. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, Sept. 15. Brother Mike Dunivan’s sermon “Church Discipline” was taken from 1 Corinthian 5:1-11.

The Harwood Post Office is open from 1:15-3:15 p.m. Monday thru Saturday so people can buy stamps, get their mail and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 a day for people to get their mail out of their box.

The weather was hot and dry most of the week. Some areas got quite a bit of rain and other areas just got a little.
