Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, says that as far as she knows she will be open the most of March unless she is sick or the weather is bad. She is closed every Wednesday.

Hunter Coy, son of Joey and Amiee Coy of Calhoun, spent Thursday, Feb. 13 through Sunday Feb. 16, in the home of his grandparents, Jerry and Karen Coy of Harwood.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman of Edwards visited in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman. They all had dinner at Madalyn’s Kitchen.

Church service was held at the Harwood Baptist Church Sunday, March 1. I could not get in touch with Brother Mike Dunivan so I do not know where his sermon was taken from.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m so people can buy stamps, mail packages and get their mail. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail from their mailbox.

Joey and Amiee Coy and Hunter and Ivy of Calhoun spent Saturday, Feb. 29, in the home of Jerry and Karen Coy of Harwood.

The Harwood and Schell City areas received another light snow late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, Feb. 26. It seems like if we get bad weather it is usually around the same day every week.
