News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, is now open for her Sunday buffet. You have to put gloves on and you have to put a clean one on every time you go to the buffet. She serves it from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.. She does not serve Sunday breakfast. She is open her regular time the rest of the week. She does serve breakfast on Saturday. She is going to have her steak dinner on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Jewell Ellerman and Mary Tomblinson attended the Fall dinner at the Schell City Community building Friday, Oct. 30. There was a large crowd in attendance.

The Harwood Post office is open Monday through Saturday from 1:15-3:15 so people can buy stamps, mail things and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail from their box.

The weather had really turned cool. The area had finally got quite a bit of much needed rain. There was a heavy frost Friday morning.
