Mt. Zion Home Bible study meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home to study the Bible with 10 in attendance; we invite you to join us at 7 p.m.

At the Pelkey household there is light. They have a new chandelier with 10 light bulbs. We are hoping it was the old chandelier with four light bulbs and not just the people getting older. Thankfully son, Gregg, came by for lunch and put the new chandelier up and took the old one home with him.

Sheri Suster visited with Donna Harris recently, Donna and Sheri visited their doctor in Clinton and enjoyed lunch out. Bob and Sheri Suster, Johnny and family shopping in Springfield at Bass Pro enjoying the day out and about.

Mt. Zion area has been having some rain which has made the grass grow.

Dixie and Howard Peterson enjoyed supper Saturday at the Deer Camp, Kent, Mitchel and Tucker Crawford hosting. Dixie has a new stove and is learning how to use it, I told her to keep poking the buttons and she would get it right eventually.

Beverly Pelkey kept her eye appointment in Warrensburg getting a good report, and then went out for breakfast and shopping for a great day.
