Mt. Zion Home Bible study was held in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home Tuesday at 7 p.m. with 13 attending to study the Bible.
Mt. Zion Club will meet with Roberta Dines March 18, at noon with a pot luck lunch at Hickory Court Community Building in Appleton City. Bring a dish to share.
Mt. Zion Area has had a nice week with more sunshine than clouds, our mud has dried a lot. Signs of spring brighten our mood with daffodils blooms, buzzards flying around, frogs singing trees budding and March wind. but some of us old-timers can recall sleet and snow the first day of snagging season after a false start to spring, the weather will be what it is.
Dixie Peterson is doing good with her therapy. Enjoying her company and mail. I enjoy her phone calls.
Wanda Rector entertained her Sunday School class with lunch recently in her home.
Julia keep her doctor’s appointment getting a good report and also a trip to the Beauty Shop, she is anxious to plant flowers and feed the hummingbirds.
Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Robin and Belle are glad the mud has dried; Belle has been sunbathing laying on her back but when she laid a little too long she was wishing to make a Snow Angel. So far no baby chickens.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey have been out sightseeing; they made a trip to Weaubleau to get some of Dick’s Horseradish they came home by way of Tiffin.
