Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor David Hill. Pastor Linda will be absent for the next several weeks due to her husband’s cancer treatments. You are welcome to join to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m.
Mt. Zion area received several more inches of rain, crops are growing, flowers are blooming and gardens are producing; roadsides are being moved making it easier to see deer.
Prayers and sympathy to the families of Pastor Tony Reynolds and Mary Woods in the passing of a loved one.
Terry and Judy Piepmeier are happy to be feeling better; Judy’s eye is doing better, not perfect, but better. Prayers are still needed.
Dixie Peterson is doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor; she is waiting for her birthday.
Caught up with Wanda Rector on her way to have a hearing test, hearing is okay just don’t like what she hears.
Over at the Robin Siegismund farm, things are going well, Belle is happy just being Belle. Robin is still knitting little blankets Mabel’s Garden is doing well also the chicken’s baby chicks everywhere. Still no baby guineas.
Julia and John Snethen had a busy week with John running his bus route and Julia doing honey do chores. Julia went to Osceola on Monday and just as she turned out on Hwy. 13, a light came on the dash and after she did her chores, she stop by Harper gas station and George fixed her light problem. She made it to her hair appointment on Friday and got her nails done then more honey dos. Saturday, she went to El Dorado Springs and did some shopping.
