Sunday morning worship service at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor Linda Wansing entitled “Are you Blessed? Do you Bless?” from II Corinthians 9: 6-15. You are welcome to join to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible study Tuesday 9 a.m.
Mt. Zion area still has waterfront property with more rain to come; plants are growing. Robert Allison will be honored on Memorial Day at approximately 10:30 a.m. by the Appleton City VFW May 30.
Remember your cemetery donations and meetings Kidd’s Chapel meets at 1 p.m. May 29, at the church.
Over at the Robin Siegismund farm, not much going on. Belle enjoys picking asparagus. Belle thinks Speck’s food is better than hers so, she is eating at Mabel’s and Speck is eating at Robin’s, at least for a while. Robin is making a red little people blanket, very pretty.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey are getting settled in at Rogersville, glad the phone numbers still the same.
The wood fairy that lived with the Pelkey’s decided he did not want to move to town so arrangement for him to move back up the hill to James and Karen Rosbrugh’s yard, he is happy for you to come by and see his new supply of hats.
Mt. Zion Club met in the Marge Zink home on May 18, with 11 women enjoying the day. This year we are interested in tools that make life easier; this month, roto blade by Donna Harris. Wilma Williams’ devotion was on Debora. Flowers were exchanged, bingo was enjoyed in the afternoon. Next meeting will be June annual Picnic June 15.
