Mt. Zion area was grateful for the much-needed rain. Everything sure has greened up an looks better. The Surprise Lillies are starting to bloom they sure are pretty. We were saddened this past week to learn Sharon Gill and Charlie Bean passed away.  Memorials are planned at a later date.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Aug 19, at 8 a.m. for a breakfast meeting at 9 a.m. at Marge Zink home.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, this week has been almost boring. The air conditioner man came and fixed the drain hose. Belle is very happy not to share her private space with anyone now. Robin is busy making little blankets with animal figures in them. Animal this week will be ducks.

Dixie Peterson is still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor.  Enjoying getting mail and watching TV.

Tom Pelkey didn’t need to mow the grass so he did maintenance on his mower  Beverly is still busy cleaning and wondering why she keeps all that stuff.
