Sympathy to Sheri Suster family

Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was by Pastor Nick Van Dam entitled “Debt Relief or Bankruptcy;” we enjoyed the music from our new to us organ, grateful the new roof was finished before the rains came. Please join us for worship Sunday morning 9 am.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Tom and Beverly Pelkey home to study the Bible; all are welcome.

We have had lots of rain in the Mt.. Zion area, fall gardens are looking good, the rain barrels are overflowing.

Sympathy to the Sheri Suster family with the passing of her mother Saturday morning.

Howard and Dixie Peterson attended the family reunion in Lebanon Saturday; they enjoyed a phone visit with their remaining aunt in Indiana who was unable to attend.

Beverly Pelkey, Grace Bartz and Dawn Stueck attended the meeting of DAR in Urich Monday.

Carl and Arlene Cruse visited in the Tom and Beverly Pellkey home.

Tom and Beverly Pelkey, Jenifer and Isabelle, Mike Shepard and family, Julia Snethen and Ron Thompson visited Marge Zink.

The Rockville Hand Quilters finished two quilts and started two more.

Julia Snethen visited granddaughter, Shella Akers, in Warrensburg on Thursday after she spent the day with her on Monday; John ran his bus route.
