Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church was conducted by Pastor Linda Wansing entitled “Joy” taken from Mathew 1:18-25. You are always welcome to join us for worship Sunday at 9 a.m. and Bible study Tuesday morning 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion area had a foggy drizzly day this past week; sure was glad the temperature was above freezing. The rain shower was much apricated, made the wheat fields a lot greener.

Judy Piepmier is doing good, still trying to keep Terry in line. Thankful for all the prayers.

Wanda Rector entertained her Sunday school class with a deliciouse lunch recently. She is ready to start her Christmas visit with family.

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Belle is wishing for snow and making her Christmas list; all she wants is treats and maybe a real bone. Chickens are still not laying, Robin is making lots of hats. Belle is glad she a country dog and doesn’t have to wear coats and hats. Belle knows it would be early to make snow angels. Mabel enjoying the little people visits.

Dixie Peterson is enjoying all the Christmas decorations at Truman Lake Manor where she is doing therapy, glad for the cards and visits.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Dec. 21 at the home of Marge Zink with lunch at noon.

John and Julia Snethen attended Shella’s graduation at Central Missouri University in Warrensburg. She was very proud and pleased to see her graduate. Then did some shopping in Clinton before returning home.

Lots of wonderful Christmas programs in the area for all to enjoy.
