Rockville United Methodist Church were hostesses for Easter breakfast with the River of Life Church; Pastor James Daman brought the morning message.

Mt. Zion Home Bible study held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Tom and Beverly Pelkey home had nine in attendance.

Mt. Zion Club was held in the Beverly Pelkey home.

Mt. Zion area was thankful for the much needed rain; rain on Easter Sunday we will see rain seven more Sundays. Several are finding mushrooms; ticks seem to be plentiful also. I saw what I assume was the Easter bunnies in Rodger Scherick’s driveway, two white bunnies.

At the Robin Siegismund farm two new kids arrived for Easter named Oreo and Chocolate Chip, Belle is happy it was one of her favorite goats.

Easter Sunday dinner guest in the Marge Zink, Stacy and Mike Griffith home were Clyde, Josephine and Brenda Peterson of Richmond, Larry and Betty Teal of Springfield, Wanda Speake of Springfield, Casey Teel and Alex of Kansas City, Howard and Dixie Peterson, Tom and Beverly Pelkey, Coralee Miller and Charles Wilson from the area.

Technology never ceases to amaze me, here at the farm a cell phone was lost out in the field and granddaughter in Opelika, AL, found it by way of her cell phone and located the phone for her mother here in Missouri.

Julia Snethen along with Jayne Taylor, Marjory Cooper, Mary Lee Seymour, and Maureen Wallace all of Clinton Chapter # 73 attended the Friendship night in Harrisonville on Tuesday evening.

Ron Thompson was home for the Easter weekend and started working on the fire pit for the yard.
