Governor Parson signed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 supplemental budget bill, House Bill 3014, which provides the state sufficient funding to operate for the remainder of the current fiscal year. HB 3014 totals over $4.6 billion, including $401.5 million in general revenue and $4.1 billion in federal funds. Some of the priority areas include public school districts and child care services. It also allocates additional funds to the people who work at our veterans’ homes, prisons, hospitals and other essential services that are underpaid.
