What’s Going On in Washington—This Christmas season, there’s a reason for real cheer in Missouri: House Republicans just passed a health care plan that actually lowers costs for everyday Americans. Not a single Democrat voted for it. That’s right—zero Democrats stood with hardworking families; instead, they chose to protect big insurance companies.

The new law, the Lower Health Care Premiums for All Americans Act, does exactly what it promises. It will:

Lower ACA premiums by 11% Save small businesses up to 30% through Association Health Plans Cut the federal deficit by $36 billion

For too long, hardworking families have been paying more for less. Insurance costs keep climbing, and options keep shrinking. Meanwhile, Washington Democrats talk about “affordability” but vote to protect big companies, not Main Street.

This Christmas, House Republicans are delivering real results: lower premiums, more coverage choices, and real savings for families and small businesses. Think of it as a holiday gift straight from Washington—except it’s for you, not some giant insurance lobby.

Families across MO-04 can finally breathe a little easier knowing health care won’t take as big a bite out of their budget. Small business owners can spend less time worrying about insurance costs and more time keeping their doors open.

This is about giving back the freedom to choose the coverage that works best for your family. And in a season all about giving, that’s a gift every Missourian can appreciate.

As your Congressman, I’m proud to fight for solutions that actually work for Missouri families. This year, let’s celebrate something that really matters: keeping more of your hard-earned money in your pocket and giving families more affordable options for health care.

It’s a little Christmas miracle—and it’s just the start!
