Care Connection for Aging Services Care Manager Melanie Shinn will provide one-on-one Medicare  Part D prescription and Advantage plan enrollment help in Cedar and St. Clair counties.

Shinn will offer free Part D comparisons and answer questions during enroll ment counseling sessions through Dec. 7.

Shinn will be available from 9 a.m. to noon at these places:

· El Dorado Springs Senior Center, 604 S. Forest, Nov. 28 and Dec. 5.  Call 417-876-5574 for an appointment.

· Korth Center, 309 W. Englewood, Stockton, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, Call 417-276-5306 for an appointment.

· Rivers Crossing Life Center, Osceola, Dec. 1. Call 417-646-8292 for an appointment.

Shinn will accept walk-ins as time allows. Enrollees should bring their Medicare cards and a list of current prescriptions.

Care Connection is partnering with CLAIM, Missouri’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program, to help people with Medicare concerns. Shinn encourages people to review their prescription plan options annually.

So far during this open enrollment, Care Connection counselors have helped beneficiaries save a combined $125,000 for the coming plan year, according to Rona McNally, director of Special Projects for Care Connection.
