Purple Wave Auction announces new territory sales manager

Purple Wave Auction is happy to announce that John Wilmesher has joined the company as a territory sales manager.

Purple Wave Auction is a leader in online, no-reserve equipment auctions serving agriculture, construction, government, and fleet industries, providing opportunities for customers to buy and sell equipment with confidence.

As a territory sales manager, John will be responsible for facilitating relationships with new sellers while also connecting with current sellers in his territory. He will work closely with sellers to complete data capture for assets and help them through the auction process from start to finish while also sharing equipment buying opportunities with potential bidders. John will serve customers in the west central Missouri territory.

Prior to Purple Wave, John spent four years as a used equipment manager for two different dealers. He also brings experience as a territory manager for construction equipment in Illinois, Missouri, and Utah.

“Some of my favorite memories are going to auto auctions and farm auctions with my grandparents. I used to believe that in-person auctions were the best way to auction equipment. With how fast technology progressed the simplicity and ease of use that online auctions have brought to the industry truly make it a fantastic way to connect buyers and sellers,” said John.
