Two El Dorado Springs FFA members received the American FFA Degree, the highest the  organization offers, at the 2017 National Convention in Indianapolis, IN,  on DATE.

Caleigh Gardner, the daughter of Crissa Gardner, graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 2016.Caleigh worked many hours and spent tons of time working at Pizza Hut in El Dorado Springs and Big Barn Ranch in Stockton.

Caleigh always focused on her studies and served as a key member on multiple contest teams. She really enjoyed competing on Leadership Development Events and Career Development Events. She was very successful in the leadership contest parliamentary procedure where she went to state. She served in multiple offices throughout her time in FFA. She is currently working at Pizza Hut and U.S.Bank.

Landon Leonard, the son of Dave and Tandi Leonard, graduated from the El Dorado Springs High School in 2016. While in high school, Landon worked in the maintenance department at the high school where he took care of the landscape and owned his own business, Leonard & Sons, as his Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE).

Landon said, “FFA not only was an organization I loved participating in and being a part of, but gave me so many necessary skills for life. From career Development Events to my personal SAEs, FFA allowed me so many opportunities to grow both as a person and a future advocate for agriculture.”

Landon is continuing on his passion of agriculture in pursuit of being a conservationist. Landon currently attends Southwestern Baptist College in Bolivar, majoring in Wildlife Biology. While attending SBU he is participating in different clubs and activities. He is currently on the football team doing what he loves.
