Cedar Sheriff serves search warrant

On July 20 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Sheriff Dwerlkotte along with deputies from the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, C.N.E.T. Drug Task Force, Vernon and Bates County Sheriff Office, served a search warrant at the Robert Winger residence located on County Road 752 approximately 1 1⁄2 mile off Hwy. AA within Cedar County.

In search of the residence and ground we located four subjects with one late arrival. Also located were controlled substance, stolen vehicles and other stolen items which were seized by the sheriff’s office. The investigation of the stolen vehicles and items is still ongoing.

The subjects were arrested and transported to the Cedar County Jail, pending charges. Robert Winger has a warrant out of Polk County with a $75,000 bond for controlled substance and Steven Grey has two warrants, one for failure to appear and second for controlled substance with a bond total of $6,300 out of Polk County.
