Jones farm honored

IT’S OFFICIAL – Tom and Lana Sue Lewallen Jones hold the official Century Farm sign provided them by Cedar County Extension when their farm was added to the list of Century Farms. Tom’s parents lived in the house in the background until Tom’s dad, Herb, passed away in 1993. Tom and Nora Mae’s husband, George Giger, added the southwest room in 1970 for a utility room and bathroom. After Herb passed away, Edna Mae lived in Greenridge Apartments in El Dorado Springs and later in the nursing home.
