BRIEFLY A STATE RECORD – Bulldog speedster Lance Molz won the 100 meter dash at the MSHAA State track meet Saturday, May 28, in Jefferson City in what was at first called a state record Class 3 time of 10.63 seconds. According to Bulldog Athletic Director Mike Durnell, officials looked at the wind speed records and ruled that there was too much of a tail wind for it to stand as a new state record. AD Durnell said that Lance had the fastest time of the day of all of the classes that competed – Classes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Lance, who won the Class 3 200 meter dash last year, finished 5th in that race this year. The top eight qualify for All State honors.
