Missing man found deceased

On Aug. 27, El Dorado Springs Police Officers responded to 208 West Cruce Street, concerning a reported deceased person located in a pasture area nearby. The deceased person was identified as Larry L. Lewellin III, 30, El Dorado Springs.

Mr. Lewellin was reported missing on Aug. 15, by family members. The investigation indicated that he had been last seen on Aug. 13, during the late evening hours.

There was no evidence or sign of foul play leading to the cause of death. The investigation ruled the death as a suicide. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. Lewellin.
