NEON SIGN SHINES AGAIN. – El Dorado Springs historic neon sign brightened the sky once again when repairs were competed just in time for the 2016 El Dorado Springs Picnic. The light shone against the gathering darkness on Tuesday evening, July 19, for the first time since August of 2014 when a devastating hailstorm took out most of the neon glass.

The classic sign’s directional arrow encourage visits to “historic downtown” including local businesses, our civic center, city hall, the Wayside Inn Museum, the Opera House, several churches and of course the Park where El Dorado Springs began.

The El Dorado Springs Chamber of Commerce led the charge to raise the funds needed to restore the sign.
