Second biggest weekend in El Dorado Springs coming up

Thursday, Oct. 13: If you missed your chance to buy tickets to “Murder at the Opera House,” an inter-active Comedy Dinner Theater, you’re still in luck. The event, which will be held at the Opera house Arts Council Art Building at 101 N. Main, has a few tickets left. Call Frank Lambrecht at 876-7399 – Quick.  If you do miss it, the OHAC is planning similar events for next year.

Friday, Oct 14: Take a deep breath and prepare for Saturday and/or go to the football game at Skyline.

Saturday, Oct. 15: 7 a.m. – Pancake Breakfast at the American Legion: 8:30 a.m. the 48th Arts and Crafts show in the Park; 9 a.m. FFA Heroes Against Hunger run AND Chamber of Commerce Ribbon cutting for the new sidewalks on Hwy 54; 9 a.m. Chili Cookers are cooking, there’s music in the Park and the public can taste at 11:30: All Day – a new group FUN (Friends Uniting Neighbors) will have kids activities in the Park.

Sunday, Oct. 16 – It’s not in El Dorado Springs, but the El Dorado Springs Lions  Club is helping the Nevada Lions Club with the Kelly Miller Circus – in Nevada.
