HELPING WITH THE GHOSTS AND GOBLINS- The local VFW Post 257 continued its long-standing tradition of helping children have a safe Halloween. This year, Monday, Oct. 31, they were visited by 728 people, served 560 hotdogs, popped 40 lbs. of popcorn and scooped 120 lbs. of ice for sno cones. They also tagged children’s costume with iridescent tape.
