DON’T GET HISSTERICAL – A momma Copperhead and her litter of nine, all with a venomous bite. August is the month for baby copperheads. Typically they will lay motionless until you get into striking range. Be careful when you pick up any object from the ground. There might be a little yellow tail under it or its momma.
