The Wayside Inn Museum will host a Needlework and Quilt Exhibit during the El Dorado Springs Picnic, July 21-24. This exhibit is open to needlework and quilters in El Dorado Springs, formerly from El Dorado Springs, and the surrounding area.

The purpose of this show is to increase the prestige, artistry, creativity, professionalism and recognition of needlework and quilts, to foster the appreciation of needlework and quilting as an art form throughout El Dorado Springs, to recognize needlework and quilters as textile artists and to preserve the heritage of today’s  needlework and quilts.

Needlework (applique, embroidery, crochet, knitting, tatting and needlepoint) and Quilts need to be brought to the museum 1-4 p.m. July 14-17 or make arrangements with Faye Koger (417/296-4684). Quilt information forms can be picked up at the museum during open hours or contact Faye Koger at ninakoger@gmail.com and forms can be emailed to you.

Needlework and quilts will be exhibited July 21-24, Thursday- Saturday, 1–4 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. You may place a price on needlework and quilts for sale.  All sales will be done between the buyer and seller.
