Hospital saved my wife

To all El Dorado Springs and Cedar County citizens – As I do – you know our town, that I call home, has a number of failing businesses and recent business shutdowns. People are moving away because of lack of jobs and opportunity. I believe that we need our hospital which may not be as big as some but it has saved a lot of lives through the years.

Just a little over a year ago, my wife became very sick and was in a lot of pain. I took her to the Cedar County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room where they discovered that she had food poisoning that had compromised her entire system – she stayed in the hospital over that weekend to be treated and for recovery. I honestly don’t think she could have traveled much further with the amount of pain that she was in. The entire staff took very good care of her and I feel like it saved her life.

Think of the jobs that could be lost and the amount of people that might be forced to relocate for employment. Do we want that? I don’t think so! Think about it!

VOTE YES for our hospital and protect what we have!
