Want to get healthier and more financially secure in the years ahead? Perhaps lose some weight and save more for retirement.

This 90-minute, four-week program will describe 25 behavior change strategies that can be adopted to improve your health and personal finances.

University of Missouri Extension specialists, Mary Sebade, Nutrition and Health Education and David Black, Family Financial Education, will lead participants through a discussion of each strategy.

Participants are encouraged to select three or four strategies to apply as part of a personal action plan.

The class content is based on the book, Small Steps to Health and WealthTM, written by Rutgers Cooperative Extension faculty members Dr. Barbara O’Neill, CFP®, and Dr. Karen Ensle, RD.  Small Steps to Health and Wealth will be offered on Wednesdays, April 12, 19, 26 and May 3, from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Residential Care Facility, 805 N. Jackson, El Dorado.
