University of Missouri Extension in Cedar County will host a seed saver workshop which will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, in the Cedar County Library (717 East St, Stockton).

The instructor for the class will be Robert Balek, Jasper County MU Extension Regional Horticulture Specialist.

The class will educate participants on how to:

• Grow Genetically Pure Seed

• Collect Viable Seed

• Store Seed for Years
