American Bass Anglers Division 126 will hold a qualifying tournament Feb. 25 on Stockton Lake. Twenty to 30 of the best bass anglers are expected, coming from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and possibly other states. ABA is a national bass fishing circuit with divisions in over 30 states. It is designed for the weekend angler with tournaments held on local lakes.

With a $25 annual membership fee, anglers can enter any ABA tournament at any location.

D126 events are a part of the ABA American Fishing Tour which holds tournaments using a draw format. Boaters and non-boaters from age 14 are encouraged to enter. Non-boaters will be paired with a boater immediately following the mandatory safely and rules briefing just before launch.

All participants are fishing for cash and prizes, as well as the right to enter the Stockton Lake Championship scheduled for June 24-25 and a National Championship to be held on the Ouachita River at Monroe, LA, Oct. 15-20, 2017.
