Benefit chicken dinner fundraiser this Friday

A benefit for the Stoney Creek, Walnut and Shady Lawn Schools is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 25, at the Fair Haven Park. Your freewill donation helps to support these schools.

The menu features all you can eat chicken (fried or BBQ grilled), chicken and noodles, beans and coleslaw along with homemade bread and butter. Dessert features freshly cranked ice cream, and homemade pies baked by the community ladies.

Fair Haven Park is on Hwy. C, 8 miles north of Walker.
