Care Connection is offering you a chance to stretch your mental muscles and have fun with an hour of Brain Games at 1 p.m. Oct. 27 on Zoom.

The free Brain Games session will be an opportunity to sample the Total Brain Health program that concentrates on body (physical fitness), mind (cognitive training that can revive skills diminished by age), and spirit (strong satisfying social ties).

Care Connection will offer the class free on Zoom. Some senior centers may offer the class on a big-screen TV if senior adults want to gather for the program.

Total Brain Health was developed by Cynthia R. Green, a leading expert on cognitive wellness. She transforms the complex science of brain health into practical, actionable steps that people can use.

To register, call 1-800-748 -7826, email information@goaging.org, or sign up online at www.goaging.org/events. If you are interested in joining the class from your local senior center, ask the coordinator about it.

Total Brain Health is one of many courses for older adults offered by Care Connection for Aging Services, a nonprofit area agency on aging serving people 60 and older in 13 West Central Missouri counties: Bates, Benton, Carroll, Cedar, Chariton, Henry, Hickory, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Saline, St. Clair, and Vernon. The agency’s mission is to provide opportunities to create positive aging experiences.  For more information: www.goaging.org or 1-800-748-7826.
