We are delighted to invite you to coffee and donuts on from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, in the EHS Library.

Children have to have their basic needs met in order to do well in school. There are direct correlations between the lack of basic needs and the success in learning.

Bright Futures is a program that utilizes social media and other forms of communication to reach out to the community to try to get these needs met within 24 hours. Needs are submitted by teachers/administration of the El Dorado Springs R-2 School and screened appropriately before being sent out. All needs are anonymously put out and could range from a coat to athletic shoes, to a water heater.

Come for coffee and donuts and hear an update by Asst. Superintendant Dr. Theresa Christian; Counselors and Principals on our past 1 1⁄2 years and successes or to learn more about this great program and how you can be a part of a Bright Future for OUR children.
