Cedar County Democratic Mass Meeting cancelled

The Missouri Democratic State Committee held an emergency meeting March 16, 2020, to discuss the County Wide Mass Meetings. Due to the spreading Coronavirus outbreak, all Mass Meetings at the County/Ward/Township level have been cancelled. The delegate selection will be “collapsed into the congressional district conventions, which are now postponed to May 30.” Please go to www.missouridemocrats.org/2020 for more information, guidance and new rules.

Those interested in participating in the delegate selection process are encouraged to attend the May 30 Mass Meetings.

The State Democratic Convention that was to be held on June 20, in Kansas City has been moved. It will not be held in Kansas City and the date is yet to be determined.
