Celebrate Kids to Parks Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at Bennett Spring State Park.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., hands-on activities will be available in the nature center. At 10 a.m., park team members will lead a beginner-level hike on Oak-Hickory Trail. This is a 0.3-mile loop behind the nature center that has a set of outdoor stairs and a gentle grade up and along the hillside. Participants will learn signage, hiking and safety tips while they experience nature. At 2 p.m., there will be a fish and mammal maze outdoors for participants who would like to learn how to better identify nature.
