Hope you can attend this special event recognizing Everett Forkner. Attached is more information about the award and the newly established Everett and Ruby Forkner MU Livestock Judging Fund. So far, nearly $120,000 towards the $250,000 project goal has been raised. Please consider being part of that effort as well. Hope to see you there on Nov 15.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the traditional Saddle & Sirloin Banquet held during the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky has been cancelled. However, in honor of Everett Forkner’s induction into this prestigious group of livestock leaders, the Forkner Family will be hosting a smaller banquet near Nevada, Missouri. The banquet will feature guest speakers, an exceptional pork focused meal, and the portrait presentation.

The event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 15, with the meal beginning at 5 p.m. and the program at 6 p.m. Central Time. The banquet will be held at 3 Cedars Event Center, Home of the Gobbler’s Roost Restaurant, 24327 E. Old Town Road, Nevada, Missouri, 64772. Banquet tickets are $100 and funds will be used to support the cost of the banquet, as well as support the Forkner Family Visionary Leadership Fund through the National Swine Registry Foundation.

Due to social distancing requirements, limited space and seating is available. All reservations are due no later than Nov. 8, or once capacity has been reached for the event. Please do not delay in submitting your RSVP to celebrate this special night with Everett and his family as attendance will be limited.
