This series of classes, Understanding Soil Fertility Concepts, will help you understand the basics of soil fertility so that you can make economic decisions about fertilizer inputs and management.  This short course, taught by Pat Miller, University of Missouri agronomy specialist, would make an excellent core training for those in ag industries.  The course meets on five Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 22, Dec. 6 and 13 and Jan. 3 and 10.  The cost of the short course is $100 per person and includes the Soil Fertility Manual from Plant Nutrition Institute.  It will be held at the Vernon County Fairgrounds Diner, Centennial Boulevard, Nevada.
